Episode Five: George Brooksbank, Fairway Capital & Leconfield Property Group

For the latest episode in our podcast series, I was thrilled to welcome George Brooksbank to join me. George is CEO of Fairway Capital and the Founder & Managing Director of Leconfield Property Group.

It was really interesting to chat to George about both sides of his businesses and the dynamic they have alongside one another. Having started his career at Savills as a chartered surveyor, he founded Leconfield Property Group in 2010. Leconfield is a well known residential development and construction company specialising in the acquisition, design and development of prime central London houses and apartments. In addition to his Managing Director role at Leconfield, In 2016 George became CEO at Fairway Capital, an investment management firm with a focus on prime real estate.

In this episode I discuss with him how development trends have changed over the course of the year and how prime property “pricing at the top” remains strong despite COVID. We also explore why garden squares in prime central London are as popular as ever despite a flurry of property buyers purchasing outside of London post lockdown.
